Anyone else not accepting the carrier update on 25th??

My MMS works, tethering works, so I am not taking the carrier update AT&T send out on the 25th for MMS. I am sure it'll remove tethering from the cell data network area on phones. Heck I am not using 3.1, iTunes 9 or the carrier file.

I'm hoping to at least download it. After that I'll wait and see the reports from other jailbreakers on what is happening.

i have the hack working but the official file would be nice, if there is a difference.

I dont plan to. Some hackers think there could be a software update too along with the carrier so im staying with JB 3.0 until next weekend / 2 weeks from now.

I have MMS and tethering working for free with the hacked carrier file 5.1. The current one is 4.0 so I am thinking they are going to update to 5.0 maybe? So will it really be an update? Anyways, im not going to touch my phone because there in the process of enabling tethering and you have to pay an extra $30 a month for that which I'm not keen on doing. So i'll just keep my phone the way it is for a very very long time.

Does one have to be upgraded to 3.1 to accept the carrier update? If so, then I'm not going anywhere near it. My phone is working just fine with 3.01 and I'm not letting 3.1 on my phone until there's a fix for the lock-up issue.

i have the hack 5.1 but for some reason i cant send mms when im connected thru wifi i can only send on a 3g network!! anyone has the same problem??

You forget ATT can force the carrier update on you. Give it a week and they just lock out all phones not updated.
