I know that many others are having issues, but most of the threads so far are negative and I wanted to start a positive one.

So far on my M1 Air, I have had no issues at all. NO glitches, ALL my apps work. I may run into some later or in future builds, but just wanted to start something POSITIVE to counter all the negative threads.

i think people generally post about issues they're having, bugs... and it makes sense. someone who's having a good experience doesn't need anything.

but good to see this; am looking forward to the public beta, and hoping my experience is similar to yours.

What apps are you using that are working?

Cannot get Wallet to work even after fiddling with Auto Updates, Security settings, and completely nuking keychains with the associated PITA.
System Preferences is a UX disaster, Jony must be groaning and Steve turns over in his grave. Have they actually used this ... thing?

I did not mean to upgrade my main system, had hoped to install on a secondary drive, but I stepped away for meeting and OS installed on my main drive. Much like AltecX, I am having ZERO issues on my production machine.

Hell...I still haven't installed Monterey yet because I still keep hearing of all it's bugs. You'd think it would have that all fixed by now. I wouldn't even think of trying Ventura. S

What bugs? Monterey was perfect for me.

It's not just you but I find it hysterical not updating because you never know what or won't work with your system until you do.

So just update!

I’m sure you were like me an expected it to ask you which drive to install it to. No stopping it once it started.

It’s not possible to have ‘no issues’ in a first beta…or any version of a release OS 😝🤣

There’s no such thing as an OS or app with absolutely no bugs except maybe the original Pac-Man and Asteroids in the Arcade 🤣

There have been a few 1st beta's I've experienced zero issues. This is one of them so far (knocks on wood)

Anyone able to report battery life on the M1 Air? I'd be interested in jumping on the macOS beta train now that I have an M1 Air as a secondary device. But I don't want to ruin my charge-it-only-every-four-days battery!

Working perfectly on my M1 Macbook Air so far. The only thing close to an issue so far was one app being incompatible with Ventura, but the company that made this app acknowledged the incompatibility immediately and how they were working on it already.

So I wouldn't consider that an issue as of yet.
