When you scroll throughout the apps it just flies by. So when you try and stop on one you either click on it or you have to find the right dance between scrolling and not going to fast. I find that closing apps is ****ing a mission now.i can't be the only one

Its very finicky. If you try opening an app when it's scrolling it works but you might tap the wrong app. If you sit there and wait for it to stop scrolling there is a moment before it has stopped and when it has stopped where nothing happens when you tap. I like the look but it's harder to use.

Meh, I don't use at as much with the new "back" feature of iOS 9 and the recent apps on the spotlight page.

I agree - liked the old way better but I suspect I'll get used to it and then I'll like it.

It took me a day to get used to the new app switcher, but I'm good at using it now. It seems to be a matter of re-training muscle memory to the movement of the cards.

I've always complained about the physics of the App Switcher. It never stops when you tap like everywhere else on iOS.

I love the app switcher. Admittedly, I only use it to kill apps. I think it looks much better and live swiping two of them up at the same time.

What I don't like about it is typical Apple form over function.

I used to use the app switcher as a tool to look back but now past apps are partially covered preventing me from looking at them. For example sometime I'll receive a phone number via text or email that is followed by another number so I can't call it (which is a problem itself, see attached image).

So what I would do is switch back and forth from the app switcher without ever going into the messages/email app. If the number is on the right the foreground app covers it preventing me from seeing it. Long press and copy then paste then back space that other number out works too but still...more of a hassle then it needs to be.

I wish iOS would have webOS multitasking/app switcher. I will forever think that that's the BEST app switcher/multitasking function I've ever come across.

I was just thinking this morning how annoying it is now. I can't stand it. Don't know what users they tested who said it was an improvement, but clearly they just wanted to do something different, and not something worthwhile.

Someone send this to Apple.. And at the same time, find out who the **** approves these things and says, "yes this works. This is a good idea. "
