Not to mention upgrades such as:
OpenGL 2.0
Pixel Shader 3.0
Hardware T&L

but most importantly...

16 and 32 bit floating point!

My understanding is that the poor FCP performance, and especially in some apps like Motion, is due to the lack of floating point operations.

This is exactly what I've been waiting for to switch over from a PC-based editing setup ;)
