MBA base connected to Dell U2720Q via USB-c that comes with monitor. Aint geting RGB-signal. Can run it high res in 60hz, but it feels a little bit ”off” in sharpness and blurry. Tried via USB-c to DP but no difference. Same with hdmi via hub. Really dont get whats up whit this. Why dosent it recognize it as a monitor, and not a TV?

Has the same issue with my older Lenovo Legion y27q-20.

Anyone else with the same issue?

M1 and external monitor problems are going into meme territory by now. The issues seem very wide spread and affect numerous monitors from all manufacturers.

My advice is to hold out for an update, get a monitor that is known to work, or send the MBA back.

Firmly into the meme territory, especially with this tweet by an Apple engineer:
