Anyone else besides me read the Wasteland section now and then for a good chuckle? Sometimes some really outrageous stuff shows up in there that I never even noticed in the main threads before it was deleted.

I didn't until I read this thread. I do now though :p It's nice to get some jollies out of other people's embarassment

Of course... great fun...

I'm a bit disappointed about one thing: Included images and sorts are not shown... which essential ruins a masterpiece of a thread like the Demi awards (which I understand had to be closed, but never fully understood why it had to be wastelanded in the first place). Oh, well, there are other nice, absurd threads to laugh at... ;)

I read them most of the time, but I ignore the free ipod ones, they are just a total waste of time!

Yup, i also read the archives.. i really like reading threads about new products Apple release, and seeing what thought about them then and were they went today. The first iPod thread is fun..some said the 20GB Creative play was going to win:rolleyes:

I just like the ones like...

"Hi. I need a warez forum with lots of topics and 300000000000x10^45 users and tons of cracks n' hacks. Help a pirate out!!?!?!?!????!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!111"

I notice that wasteland gets new threads in spurts. So, I try and read the same way - I don't go there for a few days/week and then read everything all at once.

God. If only people would stop reading that Wasteland and start reading the rejoinders written by other poets, many of which are better!

Sometimes. I was going to make a joke about sending this thread to the Wasteland, but I decided not to. I don't know why.
