I really like the SE, and was bummed that Apple, in its infinite wisdom, decided to not continue or upgrade it. I currently have a 64GB version. When Apple axed the SE, it was pulled from its physical and online store. I thought i would have to turn to Ebay if I wanted a backup phone.

MacRumors mentioned that WALMART was having a special Black Friday on 32GB SE's for $80/each. I checked it out early Friday, and scored two silver iPhone SE devices. They arrived a couple of days ago. Brand new wrapped boxes, with Walmart Family Plan Sim packages.

I currently have my current SE running on Tmobile, which I have been happier with since they have been upgrading their equipment to LTE. Family Plan utilizes the Tmobile network. Only issue with this purchase is these phones will need to run on the Walmart plan for 12 months before they will unlock them for use on any carrier. I don't use much data, and Walmart has a prepaid plan of $25/month for unlimited talk/text and 1 GB of data.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has grabbed new SE models while they are still out there somewhere.
