I never had iOS15 on my iPhone 12 so all I have to go on is my iPhone 13 Pro. The touch response just isn't as good as previous iPhones. I can't explain it. It doesn't always register or it lags, swipe (say swiping a page) is tough to actually get to swipe, etc. Anyone else still experiencing this? I'm not sure if I should take my phone to Apple (for them to say its normal) or wait for the next update. Thanks

I have the 13 Pro Max. I wouldn’t call it an issue but touch response does seem different. Sometimes when I tap my locked phone there’s no response till I tap again, some on screen taps seem to be delayed, depends on the app, other times it’s dramatically fast. Nothing that I would describe as a problem but there does seem to be more variability which I would attribute to the software.

Yes. I have an 11 Pro and I am having issues. Sometimes a swipe will not register or I cannot tap on a notification.
Very annoying.

Delayed and erratic touching sounds like an issue to me.

The upper corners of my 13 Pro Max are sometimes unresponsive. It has happened enough I know it is not me missing the mark.

Same issue here, 13 Pro…when I try to bring control center down, it doesn’t register at least 4-5 out of ten times. Annoying as hell…iOS 15 has so many nagging issues ?

Seeing the same on X with 15.1. I notice it mostly in Safari when trying to scroll horizontally or pinch zoom. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

I think they're trying to cram too many gestures in, which means they need to reserve certain areas of the screen as the "starting point" for a given gesture. If you try to use a different gesture than what that starting point is expecting, it won't activate it.

On my 12PM, I've had this issue sporadically, where a touch won't do anything. I don't recall having the issue prior to moving from iOS 14.X to a late beta of iOS 15 in mid-August.

I'm not seeing the issue as much since installing the public release of 15.1, but still once in a while.

I've reported the issue in the Feedback app.

I rarely if ever had this pre-iOS 15 so I expect it's OS-related and will get ironed out in future iOS updates.

I have an iPhone 13 pro and have noticed a lot of having to tap twice or more on something to get it work. As compared to my XR anyway.

I still have all of the same touch issues as everybody else on my iPhone 13 Mini, iOS 15.1. If I press one of the volume buttons it resolves the immediate problem, but does not prevent it from happening again. I find it increasingly annoying.

I have lots of issues typing on iOS 15 due to touch. Registering incorrect letters, some of the corners not registering touches, iPhone 13 Pro. I hope it's iOS and not the phone itself.

Sadly pinch to zoom problems on XS hasn't been corrected in iOS 15.2 ?

Still having touch registration issues. I have already reported this to Apple. Make sure you report this issue to Apple. The more people report this the better chance it will get fixed. That’s the hope anyway.

It does seem to have gotten better in 15.2 compared to .1 but I still seem to get this happening at least several times a day. iPhone 7+

Since installing 15.2 on my iPhone X the entire left side of the screen is unresponsive. Can't open apps, can't type on the left side of the keyboard, can't return from a text group (upper left), once within an app you can't return to the home screen of the app. The phone is useless with this upgrade. A hard reset enables it only for a few minutes.

I don’t understand how Apple could have messed up so badly with an iOS update like v15. Really crazy!
I can't personally vouch for 15.2(Use Apple Music) but iOS 15 has been "FUN" since day 1. So many weird issues, somewhat reminds me of the iOS 11 days TBH, haha.

Maybe try doing a Recovery Mode Update and see if that helps.

Yes still having them intermittently. IP13PM with 15.2. I had 2 new IP13PM and the both had these issues. It is not severe for me though.
