anyone else unable to read 9to5mac in Safari?

Following 9to5mac's redesign I am unable to read their site using Safari, I just get an unscrollable page and can't view any more content than is initially displayed on my screen. The page won't scroll. I contacted them for help and was told "you're the only person having this problem."

I can read it fine in Firefox. Just not Safari.

I am curious if anyone else is having this issue, or if anyone has insight into what this might tell me about potential problems with my Safari setup or system.

The site work fine for me, in both Safari and Firefox. Running the Safari Web Inspector shows 227 errors where 9to5 is loading frames with a different domain, mostly googlesyndication.com, and frames with unmatched protocols. I see this all the time.

Firefox only shows a bad use of SSH-1 certificates and a few unbalancing errors because they use document.write() which causes a reparse.

Other than serving different ads, both browsers render the page identically.

Just a guess... are you accepting 3rd party cookies? I've found many sites that won't work right if you block their cookies.

Thanks for your reply. I checked my cookies and they are set to "always allow." It's a mystery to me, no other website exhibits this behavior for me in Safari, only 9to5mac, and only since their redesign. Fills the open window but then can't be scrolled any further.

Works fine for me as well

I would try disabling Safari extensions to see if one is interfering
You might want to disable them all first and see if it works and then add them back one at a time

thanks so much, you were correct, it was an extension called "shoptagr" which I deleted. Now 9to5mac scrolls and loads as it should. thanks again.
