Dosen't work for all videos yet, and the fullscreen feature with it is limited. But it's running well for me :) What about you guys?

I tried it out a long time ago but it seemed quite buggy back then. I'll stick with Flash until it completely changes to HTML5. I don't have any problems with it.

Tried it - found the quality to be totally unacceptable (even on videos of my own that I've uploaded and KNOW to be of good quality) and switched back. Those calling for everyone to switch to the HTML5 to speed up the death of flash are blind, stupid, and quite probably both.

HTML5 doesn't determine the video quality...

Yep, I use it. Too bad most videos doesn't use it though. YouTube needs to hurry up! .

Given that youtube is owned by google and google now has flash for android. Do you think that google will be dragging its feet on this?

Nope I don't. Google makes money from ads they don't care if its flash or HTML 5 as long as they can serve ads.

As for fullscreen try this plugin that fixes it if you're using Safari.

Thanks.

People need to remember that it's still a Beta, so it's not going to work perfectly. In fact Flash has been the one that's been running slower for me and glitching up. Not all videos work with it yet and HD isn't great either, but they're getting there...hopefully!

I use it all the time. For videos on H.264 via Safari, it works fine (w/o fullscreen). I have also tried to use WebM, using Firefox beta. WebM codecs are not yet ready for prime time ...
