I miss the days when new tech would be disclosed in WWDC for purchasing in September. This is a good time frame for students going back to school (including myself). I'm getting advertising daily for other companies flogging their wares in preparation for back to school yet Apple is pretty much silent. I'm sure there are many reasons why Apple hasn't disclosed anything yet, but it would have been nice to at least scope out what I wanted for this fall by now before I become preoccupied with school. Gear acquisition syndrome (GAS) at it's best.

Is there anything you wish Apple would release that would be a game-changer, changing the way you do things on a daily basis? I'm definitely interested in replacing my Intel 16" MBP with an Apple Silicon version but a game changer would be an iPad that ran MacOS, or a MBP that could use an Apple Pencil. Right now I have to carry around a MBP plus an iPad Pro to accomplish my daily tasks.

Or how about a Mac that can actually game AAA titles?

A multi-boot phone which can be booted into iOS or connected to a dock and boot into macOS. With an external monitor (up to dual 4K) and peripherals attached. Also give it a regular BIOS. So, you can install Linux, Windows (ARM), Android, &c. Booting off external drives or partitions in the phone.

That'd be pretty slick with 12GB to 16GB RAM.

Wow that’s really dreaming. I think the phone as a computer would be awesome though. It’s very much in the realm of possibility these days given the power of phones. I believe someone has tried this (Continuum?). If Apple wanted to I bet they could. However they’re content with selling you multiple devices to complete your daily tasks.
+1 for the docked phone/ computer

Yes, especially since I ate Brussels sprouts for dinner.

Yeah, I'd rather have the Brussel sprouts... the concept of a combo iOS/macOS device will never fly.
