Anyone else's iPad Homebutton not responsive?

I have to press home button pretty hard to make my home button work
when I press softly, button doesn't react at all even when the button makes the "click" sound
is this normal or should i get this exchanged?
this has become really annoying

What do you mean? the button isn't completely silent, there is always a small click when you press it.

Sounds like you got a problem. I only need a slight touch on my home button. I would get it checked out.

Hey dueche, do you even own an iPad? Mine makes a very distinct "click" sound, and is very responsive.

All I need to do is look at my Home button and it activates. If you have to press it at all, yours is faulty.
