Is anyone else's crashing upon wake up? My MBP crashes regularly upon wake up and is rebooting.Big Sur Beta 3. Did not do this on B1 or B2.

Just curious if I need to look into this further if it's a start up app or a new bug.

Thanks in advance.

I'm having problems with the Beta 3 I didn't have before. I'm not sure what you mean by "when I wake up," just when I wake up the Mac, I can see the Mac crashed and reboot while I was gone. Look in Console if the last crash report is about a widget, in my case the weather widget is concerned.

Awesome will do thanks!

Another question @sinbad21 -- my external SSDs are not mounting any more either. I looked in Disk Utility and they are not showing up. They mount and work just fine with iPad and other Macs. I reset the SMC and no fix. Any recommendations?? Thanks again.

First, which machine do you have ? Does it support Big Sur or not ?
Then, how do you plug these external SSDs ? On usb port ? Did you try with an usb flash drive ?

I have a 2017 13" MacBook Pro. It does support Big Sur.

External SSDs are plugged in via thunderbolt USB-C. I've also just tried a USB-C SD card reader that also worked on B1 and B2. They don't even light up. Yet, when I plug in the same port for power, they will charge the MBP. Very strange.

When also plugging in my iPhone 11 Pro via Lightning to USB-C, it also does not mount. Oh the joys of beta!

Found the issue! Reset SMC solved it in case anyone is having the same issue. I held wrong keys down first time.

Using beta 3 on my 2019 mba. Yes I'm experiencing system crashes on wake from sleep that I have not experienced in the last 2 betas.

Not crashes, but similar as the graphics/screen would keep crashing forcing a reboot. Have tried SMC reset.

I was having some weird issues where my MacBook Air wouldn't wake properly; I've since turned off display scaling (set it back to default) and haven't had the issue since.
