Mail App not working

My .mac account Email stopped working earlier.

When I logged in online through mac.com it worked fine and I had a grip of new emails.

This happened yesterday and the day before for a little bit, and has happened in the past.

This is a serious issue that has been re-occuring and I am REALLY close to canceling my .mac account and jsut getting a Gmail account.

I'm seriously pissed off. One would think that a company known for software stability and customer service would be able to keep their bare-bones mail client functional most of the time. Guess not

I agree. I've been a customer for a long time, but there's just too many outages.

Down for me as well. MobileMe support there usual useless selves. Won't give any information at all other than tell you its down and check the status page.

Mine runs out 28th Nov seriously considering just moving back to GMail at least then you know your not paying for a service thats always going down (not that GMail does that often, and even then at least Google keep everyone updated).

I use mobileme exclusively for my graphic design business, and when they go down... they CRIPPLE ME!!!!

This is unacceptable. At least give paying customers an estimate on being back up!!!!

See, it runs so poorly on Safari (ironic) that I never know if it's really down - unless I come here and see others experiencing the same problem.

Errors, time-outs and garden variety waiting has become the norm with mobile me mail on Safari.

Mine has been down for a couple hours now and BS on the Status page saying the website is working. I cannot access my mac.com email anywhere.

How do I setup Mail on my MacBook Pro to keep messages on the hard drive so I do not need to be online to access older messages?

Nevermind, I figured it out. They are already on there.

Seems to be back up, but now I get this display. I have to guess where the buttons are - kind of a fun game.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Both mine and wife's were down for about 2-3hrs today (mail and iphone). Web worked after maybe 30min or so.

I can't remember the last time it was down like this.

Not down but my folders are messed up somehow... All my sent messages are messed up. See here.

This really sucks. And apple isn't handling the situation well at all. Not even a message that they are having problems? Serious problems? I mean why wouldn't the do that? Everybody knows that MM right now does not work...

Mine quit working yesterday for awhile also. I sent two emails and they never sent and now my phone keeps trying to send them over and over and I can't find them anywhere in MobileMe or on my phone.

I'm having issues syncing ical to the cloud. Works 50% of the time only. No issues with syncing anything else.

Anyone experiencing this?

It won't retain a password in the iPhone.

How can I contact MobileMe customer support?

Mine's been working with no problems, so it would 'appear' that not everyone's effected. There's not much talk of outages on Apple Discussions either. Weird. I hope you folks get your MM back soon.

MobileMe down

Published with iWeb after making sure site name was not "index" and iWeb '08 prefs were trashed per Apple Support Discussions. My domain name won't access my site nor will "visit published site" in iWeb work. Tried numerous possibilities including a trip to confirm settings at my domain name registrar and get this every time:
