I updated my 1st gen iphone to 2.0.1 a couple weeks ago, and ever since it has been much slower.
When I am typing a text it takes a full second to register my keystrokes, sometimes if I get out of text and then go back in this will stop for a few minutes, but sometimes not.
Typing in safari is the same way, sometimes it is much slower.
I have been have worse/dropped service, that started a little before the update, but seems to have gotten worse.
Apps take much longer to load, especially contacts and SMS, when I tap the button it takes a few seconds to recognize the tap, and then a good 10 secs or more for the app itself to load. (i.e. SMS conversations to appear, contacts list to populate) Many of the apps are slower, these are just the two that I notice the most.
I can live with most of this, but the slow SMS is the worst, I text all the time, and it gets really frustrating!
Is anyone else experiencing these problems? Anyone have a fix?
