Anyone experience Battery drains faster?

Using the public beta and noticed that the phone is pretty warm and the battery drains very fast. Anyone else experiencing this?

I think almost everyone. That’s pretty normal for a beta version

The battery usage returned to normal for me once I restarted the phone. It's been several days now with normal battery usage.

Battery life settled down after a couple of days on my xs max, getting the same battery usage I was getting on iOS 13.

Not really having any battery drain after second beta on my iPad Pro 11 2018. I hope that next beta will bring even better performance.

Battery on both XR and iPP 11 2018 has been less on b2. XR always went more than a day. Lucky to get 12 hrs with b2. iPP will lose 60% just sitting over night.

Mine freaked out yesterday morning and was sucking down the battery like my old '78 Bonneville guzzled gas.

After a reboot all was well. I've seen this happen in past betas. I think clearly there is some process hung in a loop or something.

Without question, this beta (IOS 14 as a whole) has been a battery killer.

Interesting the variety of reports on this...I’ve had this problem for other iOS releases...but battery life has been about the same for me...i have an XS w 256

Beta 2 is horrible with battery drain, among other things.

The heat and the drain on this beta is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Woke up this morning at 100%, used for about 45 mins (Facebook, IG, mail) and down to 56° and toasty.

My SE battery has been terrible since I bought it, but this beta really smokes it. Something to do with the background activity bug, perhaps? Who knows?

I also experience very bad battery life with this beta on my iPhone 11 Pro.
i expect the next beta (hopefully this evening) will have a fix.

33 mins after my above post and I’m down to 27%.

My SE 2nd gen hasn’t been any different.
It drained fast one day because it was hot and I was in the sun.
