anyone else think max is to big to use one handed. What is everyone's thoughts. I think it actually isn't too bad.

So I picked up the Max. And I’ve tried to like it. I thought it be a decent iPad mini replacement, but I think apple did a really bad job of optimizing the software for the bigger screen. The keyboard is shrunken and most apps even apples don’t take advantage of the size. I got my wife an Xs and looking at forums and websites, the text is almost the same size. The screen is just taller and needs to be wider. I’m going to exchange my max for an xs with 256 gb. But that’s just me. I wish I had just waited and saw them in the store before buying it.

Coming from an X yes I can hold and use one handed but to view social media etc. Regardless for typing I always use 2 hands. Faster and more precise. Sold my X today. Max stays. Mind you I never like Plus size iPhone nor big phones.

Is someone keeping the count of the threads of this nature since the new iPhones came out?

If so, what number is this one?

You would think that there haven’t been plus sized iPhones with the same general dimensions of the Max since 2014 or something.

Have none of the people surprised by the size of the Max ever held a 6 Plus, 6s Plus, 7 Plus, or 8 Plus? Not even a demo unit?

I did the same, returned my Xs Max 512 and got a Xs 512. For me it wasn't so much the size as the weight. It just felt heavy...

The difference is the larger screen and heavier materials.

Today is my first day with Max and coming from X (used plus phones since 6 series prior) I’m actually finding myself rethinking my choices. X is just easier to handle all around. Max is heavy and the increased screen size made it harder to easily access the control center or pull down for lock screen in general. I’ll give it a try a few more days before deciding anything.

I think it's too big and heavy. I switched from the S9+ to the xs Max for two days, then exchanged for the xs. Can't be happier. The xs is perfect size.

The 7 Plus weighs 20 g less than the Max. That’s 0.7 oz.

All I can say is that in the store my 7 Plus felt close to the same weight as the Max.

And others have posted they find it heavier, not sure why people have to constantly argue about everything on this forum.

Basically “Because I don’t find it heavier, it is not heavier. That’s what he’s saying.
