Wondering if I should upgrade from the first generation to the pro. I fly on average 27 hours a week and live on my QC35, but need something while the Bose charges.
Any one fly with these yet? Do they work well?

I have. They aren’t as good as the QC35 in terms of noise reduction but they are 90% of the way there. They certainly reduce the noise to a slight hum and IMHO is more than good enough, with any music or podcast playing you will have difficult hearing the aircraft at all.

The secret to AirPods Pro isn’t that they are the best sounding or the absolute best at noise canceling... it’s that they have good sound, good noise canceling, a world class transparency mode, are incredibly tiny and all fit in a case the size of dental floss. They do it all... fit well now, reduce noise, are good fitness earbuds, good EVERYTHING buds.

I’d never take headphones the size of the QC35s on a trip again. I have everything I need in my pocket now.

Awesome, thank you for the reply!
I had a feeling that they would be good if there is music playing, but likely not cancel as well as QC35 when there is nothing playing. At the very least, it sounds a lot better than the AirPods which even at 100% volume are fairly useless on a flight (and horrible for ear health).

Flew with them yesterday and I agree with canyonblue737.

More than adequate and I no longer have the need for other noise cancelling headphones, except for longer trips, maybe.

I have the QC 35 and APP. The QC 35 cancel almost as much noise as the APP by virtue of their over ear design. Once noise cancelling is turned on they blow the APP out of the water. Apples and oranges. The APP noise cancellation is weak. On a short flight they will suffice but, give me the QC 35 on any flight over two hours.
