Anyone get a 360 controller to work on Portal???

I obviously dled Steam and Portal (can't beat FREE!!!)....and I would like to use my 360 controller with it...problem is...I don't see any gamepad support. I dug up some console commands to use and even though they register and map controls for a 360 controller...the game doesn't seem to sense my 360 controller at all.


Anyone figure it out?


And also, I have the drivers and such that I need.

No luck here.. it's clearly set up to work on a PC, but even with the drivers working on my Mac the game doesn't seem to work with it..
