Used to get 15% off my service every month since I am a teacher, did not show up the last bill as I expected. But is anyone still getting theirs? I thought only big corporate compaines could not get the discounts.

When I bought the iPhone the manager mentioned that as a teacher (we were talking when I ws on line) that I was eligible for a discount on the service. He added it to my account, I now have a FAN number, and when I bought headphones I got the 30% off, but I have yet to receive my bill. He also said it might now show up on this bill but it will on my next.

I believe that you will be entitled to discounts on accessories and other products & services from AT&T. But as far as I know and many other folks on these forums, there is not going to be any discounts on the iPhone or on it's related service contract.

Our family is on the Military plan and the iPhone & related service contract is excluded from the discounts that the plan is entitled to.

I should also mention that I am on a family plan, with the main line not being an iPhone, and I am an existing customer so the only thing I had to do was switch data packages. I know there is no discount on the data package, but we'll soon find out about the voice.

Not sure about mine either, as I went to ATT Premier website and signed up post the activation of my phone and it seems to have gone through as my plan cycle was changed to match the company's. We'll see if there is a discount though.

iPhone plan is not eligible for any discounts, corporate, military or educational unfortunately. I have an educational discount FAN number on my account, and was told that I'd lose the discount when I activated the iPhone. AT&T didn't remove the FAN, so hopefully I'll still get the discount on my second (non-iPhone) line, but that's about it I'm guessing.
