Just curious if anyone is going to miss that status sleep light that's not on the new airs. For some reason I know of miss that nice white light.
BTW, the sleep indicator light eats up battery, by eliminating it they were able to extend its hibernation time for up to 30 days. On my Rev. C MacBook Air, I am lucky to get it to stay asleep for 2-3 days before the battery is completely drained. That pulsating white sleep indicator light EATS UP battery life FAST!!
My 2009 Air would drop by 20-30% per day when sleeping. While I will miss the light, I am happy to trade it for more battery life.
