Anyone got a 4-core nMP? How does it compare to other Macs?

Just wondering if anyone has done any benchmarking on the 4-core nMP, however informal, and what your general impression on the machine is?

I'd love to see a comparison of actual application performance between the base nMP and top-end iMacs & rMBP.s Geekbench scores aren't enough here.

Basically I want to see whether the differences in CPU, memory & SSD (between nMP & other Macs) really make that much difference. I'm discounting GPUs at the moment, because so few applications currently make use of them.

That is a 12-core comparison, which will be better than the base for some things, potentially worse on others.
