So I recently replaced my other MacBook because of a sticky key (should have just fixed dammit!) but now this MacBook has the Moo. Although it is rather quiet, it still annoys me.

I was wondering if anyone had any luck with the Geniuses on getting your MacBook replaced?

Don't think of it as a moo, think of it as a purr. Mine does this when it's between those temps, but the fan sound doesnt bother me at all after my massive desktop computer humming away at all hours. Wait for the update and see if that fixes any of the problems then decided if its worth the risk.

... what risk?

and I think it is the fan... because my first macbook that had the sticky key did not moo at all.

replacing it with another macbook might have an even louder moo.

or more sticky keys, dead pixels, damaged/mis-aligned casing, bad logic board etc etc etc etc!!! X10000 infinity

*BUMP*

Im hoping I can hear from someone because as of right now its getting really irritating when I am in a quiet room trying to read and take notes on my macbook when suddenly I start hearing..... "moooooooo"...... "mooooooooo".... so on and so forth.

If anyone took it to a genius, tell me what you said and they said and hopefully if they did anything for you.
