iPhone X Anyone had issues with their hand hitting the return key?

I’m liking my iPhone X however I’m having a consistent issue with the ball of my thumb on my right hand hitting return mid typing and starting a new line. This seems to happen the most in Messages. I found a tweak that disables it but the only issue is it also disables the key when it is “send” making it almost unusable.

I came from a 8 plus, it’s not an issue for me.

At the beginning it was a bit difficult to adjust with the size but eventually I did get used to it.
