I don't love mine, I'm still in that 'lust' phase! :D

It's my first portable Mac (though my 7th Mac in all), so I am annoyed by the usual little things like lack of adjust-ability of the keyboard, the size of some keys (Return, no Delete key, accidentally pressing the function key instead of Control etc.) - the usual portable issues, but I love this machine!

There's no compromise for me using this either as a portable or a 'portable desktop'.

It is great the oly thing I use my iMac for anymore is torrents because my laptop is not on 24/7 and I use it at work. The only program that is slow for me so far is worms3d. I love being able to watch 720p video with no lag also.

I've had mine for about a week. Yes, it makes a faint whining, but honestly, even still it's a lot quieter than my AlBook ever was so I really don't notice it much. Also you have to be a dead silent room to pick it up at all. I love my MBP so much. After 2 years of tolerating my AlBook its so great to have a machine that doesn't give me spinning beachballs every 3 seconds.
