I waited until Apple's reveal today to decide if I would move on and unfortunately Apple has not impressed me at all. Rather they have disappointed me again with their continued obsession with the camera bump.

I have about five months to go before my 6s+ and my wife's 6s are paid off and then we will be switching to Android.

I have considered the Huawei P10 Plus. Huawei has managed to make dual cameras flush with the casing (why can't Apple) and I like the design.

I've read a few generally good reviews and most of the issues that seemed to be reported is stuff that really does not apply to me.

Has anyone used this phone and care to share their thoughts/experiences?

Right now, it's not sold in the US. I don't wish to go through the machinations of obtaining two unlocked phones only to find out that build quality sucks or there are issues I am unaware of.

I do know it will work on T-Mobile (my carrier) without issue.

Here's the phone in question…

Why not wait a bit and really give it some thought IMHO camera bumps are pretty thin reason to switch it'll also allow time for Google to announce the new Pixel

Well, it's going to be a least five more months.

But as far as the camera bump, all I can say is that I do not like it and it is the reason why I have avoided getting the 7+ and now these new Apple phones(s).

I have a minimal requirement set for any phone I use, so I buy based on aesthetics and physical design. And the new Apple iPhones are not doing it for me.
