Just curious if anyone has had any success with this? My area has "known issues", the tech guy they transferred me to said that there have been over 20 complaints filed in the past 3 months for my neighborhood. But all he really offered was to escalate the issue and add it to their "problem map" so they can use it to prioritize service upgrades. He did mention some new "servers" coming online in my neighborhood within 3-6 months, but no guarantee of improved service.

Meanwhile, I miss texts, voice mails, calls, etc... Basically given up on using my iphone at home other then for data on the wifi network. :(

What is a micro cell?

I'd try to get out of the contract and move to
another carrier

A micro-cell is a new device that they will make available nationwide within the next month or two (but is currently available in my market as a "test" market) - which hooks up to your wi-fi at home and serves as a 3G tower in your house to solve reception problems.

They charge $150 for it.
