Does anyone have any information about how long we have left for the full-blown version of Nisus Writer for OS X?

I so loved it back in '95 when I was in undergrad, but then <sheepishly> I had a spell of Windows </sheepishly> and came back to the light with my Rev. A TiBook and OS X only to find that Nisus was doing a "ground-up" revision in Cocoa -- laudable goal, but not quite as useful to me.

Also, an interview with one of Nisus' corporate officers suggested that OS X's text engine was not fully formed and was one source of the delay. Does we believe this? Or is it a lame excuse?

I remember Nisus Writer (5?) being late as they were adopting OpenDoc. I think they don't move quickly on new technology but they're still faster than Quark, in any case. :D

It'll probably be a little rocky for a while.
