I think the question was directed towards what people are using it for - not what could they use it for.

Well, this is my first ExpressCard laptop, so nothing yet - I would have an ExpressCard 3G modem but I've got a great USB one that works in PCs/Macs, Desktops/Laptops, so I'm sticking with that!

i am thinking about getting a griffin technology expresscard media reader.

i have a sony camera (memory stick) and a palm pda (sd card) so an all in one is ideal.

but i'm waiting for a good deal for them.

another interesting thing is that someone just came out with a front-row compatible remote that fits into the express card slot. while it is a 3rd party and not apple, it is a great idea.

well for picutures i use my 12-in-1 card reader... I also purchased that new Belkin Highspeed Docking Station from my CompUSA before it shut down... However, this really awesome docking station mostly works with windows until (hoepfully) drivers come out. that leaves me with pretty much a $150 usb hub and audio extension cable hmmmmmm
