I have a Mac Pro 2012 5,1 Quad Core 3.2GHz and Hyper Velocity have a killer deal on 2 sticks of 4GB RAM (8 total) for $150.

Anyone have good or bad experience with this brand?

I currently have 3 x 2GB RAM OEM Stock RAM and would remove slot 3 and place the 2 - 4GBs in slots 3 and 4 since on my model Apple says I can mix and don't have to match like previous models.

Thoughts?
Thanks
Steven

I just ordered Hynix RAM, but MacRamDirect sent me hypervelocity RAM instead. I am contemplating whether to ask for a partial refund and keep the RAM, or whether to insist on sending it back and having them send me the Hynix RAM. I ordered 6 * 8 GB sticks.

I've had 32gb of hypervelocity ram in my macpro3.1 for a few years now with no issue at all. Great quality and prices.
