Anyone Have Trouble with Office Communicator

Using the latest OC on my MB air - it's hit or miss when I login. Half the time it locks up my laptop... So badly that I have to do a hard shut down by holding down the power button, can't force quit or even move the mouse! Anyone else experiencing this? It's driving me crazy... can't figure it out. Thx.

Use OC daily without issues. Any other details you can provide? What backend version do you connect to? Any of your colleagues using the Windows version have the same issue? You all up to date with patches? Do you run Outlook as well?

Machine lockup is not good - may be a hardware issue. Take it to Apple and see if hardware test runs fine.

I use OC and although it doesn't crash it sometimes is slow to connect.

Thanks for the replies. Some details: Connecting to Exchange 2007, not sure what OC backend - but I think I heard 2007, yeah using Outlook 2011 as well (no problems there - integration seems ok), nobody around me really uses a Mac... all Win 7 users... I did try un-installing it, but then afterwards realized all the preference files still existed, so I've now nuked those and reset everything... seems to be ok now, but will leave it for a few days to see, have all the patches possible for OC and OSX. Glad to hear it's working for others. I thought initially it was hardware as well - but when I don't run OC my MBA flies... no issues.
