I really love Big Sur except, it's not playing nice with Adobe Connect. I use Adobe Connect for some virtual conferences, and with the advent of Big Sur, Connect no longer detects my webcam. I have tried the built-in FaceTime HD camera on my iMac 2020 and an external webcam (Logitech 4K). Both cameras worked wonderfully on Catalina.

I have tried this workaround, but it does not seem to solve the issue for me: https://blogs.adobe.com/connectsupport/cameras-not-detected-in-adobe-connect-when-using-big-sur-os/

Thank you!

I have specifically chosen NOT to install Big Sur because I read and heard about this issue. I would appreciate any solution(s) if you find any. I use Adobe Connect a lot for work as well.

It's been a while, but I had to uninstall Adobe Connect, restart my computer, then install the update on Adobe Connect's blog post. This did the trick. I am running an intel-based 2020 iMac with Big Sur, so not sure if it'd be applicable for the M series of chips.
