My late 2011 MBP 13" running 10.11.5 El Capitan is consistently telling me my flash is unavailable or not present. I have updated and installed the most recent version of flash from Adobe's site several times. I have shut down Safari several times trying to get the install to take. I have restarted the computer several times as well. I keep getting told my flash is unavailable. Anyone having this trouble?

You probably need to enable Adobe Flash in safari plug-in menu after installing it. And some sketchy sites using it require flash plug-in running in "unsafe" mode. Allow it if that site is legit and you trust that site.
