Hey all! Just updated my XS Max to iOS 14 today, and then did a full erase of the device and set it up as new.

I’m having a heck of a time installing apps! They keep spinning and spinning and failing - maybe after ten tries it’ll finally download. I’ve installed 8 apps in thirty minutes. Anyone else having this issue? I’ve tried restarting my phone with no improvement.

I'm having a problem doing updates. Started about an hour ago. Last time something like this happened, it was on Apple's side and resolved itself after a bit (maybe a day?). Not a good time for this to happen, though...

I’m also having trouble updating apps. Just had to update apps on both my iPhone and iPad one app at a time.

Yeah, I can’t update 5 apps on my iPad Pro 12” running iPadOS 14.0. Glad to see it’s probably a network issue and not corruption on my device.

Apple says resolved. It still isn’t resolved for me - unable to update apps.

Edit: now it worked so looks like it has been fixed.

I’m still seeing issues. It’s improved, but still taking several attempts to update apps.

Hi there,

Any time a one of my apps has an update from the app store, I tap update and the circle spins then goes back to update. I end up having to remove the app entirely then reinstall it - which seems to fix it. Also - I will update an app (if the update works) and the new widget won't load. I have to remove the app the reinstall for that too.

Is this happening to anyone else? Annoying.

Has this just started happening with the iOS 14 update or was it happening in earlier versions? There's a current App Store issue that might be affecting you:

As a matter of fact started happening last night. I updated to iOS 14 on release day. Thanks for the tip! I will be a little more patient now. LOL

My iPad had no trouble updating a groups of apps just now. Much better than last night, this morning. My iPhone still requires trying mutliple times to update apps, and only one at a time.

Is anyone else having issues updating apps in the App Store? I have several apps that need updating, but when I click update the update circle appears but then quickly turns back to 'update'.

When I tried to download an app earlier today I got asked to sign in again into my Apple account (first by a full screen window and then again via this small popup that appears at the bottom of the screen) but it still didn't work. Hopefully this issue is resolved soon :)
