Hi

I'm not a developer, beta tester etc so can't do this myself. On my iPhone 7 plus I have a list off apps that say not compatible with future versions.

Could anyone help with one that actually isn't on the list but very old with iOS 11 compatibility? it for an iMation link memory bank/charger and the app is https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/imation-link/id916057357?mt=8

and the product is here
https://www.mymemory.co.uk/imation-...-3000mah-portable-iphone-battery-charger.html

its basically a memory stick that needs an app to read/write to the iPhone. At the moment the app asks continually "to allow access" but works, but not sure on iOS 11?

thanks

it’s working fine with iOS 11 beta 1

Many many thanks for testing. Strangely it hasn't had the pop up of "this app may be incompatible" even though the app is very old.

I think the company Imatiom folded and so there is no hope for an update either, pity as it is still being sold by retailers as well.

In iOS 11 that dialog doesn't display. Instead, apps simply refuse to open. If the app is already 64-bit it'll still run.

The I meant currently it doesn't only iPhone on iOS 10. Anyway for me to tell of its 64bit?

On iOS 10.3, you can go into Settings > General > Apps and see if it’s there. If Apps isn’t tappable, it means your apps are all 64-bit.

Alternatively you can also search the App Store now and see if it’s still there.

It isn't in that settings page, still in the store

And an earlier update said "added arm64 arch support" ?

So currently there is no apps in the app store that are not now 64bit? This is on iOS 10?

Yeah if it’s still in the store now, it means it’s 64-bit.

I think anything updated must be 64bit so anything a dev has updated in the last 2 years must be 64bit compatible.

Anything 32bit could still be in the store, but hasn’t been updated for a long time.

In the last couple of weeks Apple stopped these apps showing in search results, but if you have a direct link they are still there.
