Wondering if anyone here uses a screen filter on their display/monitor?

These filters apparently help to reduce the radiation from the screen...I have this problem where sometimes if I am on the computer for more then an hour or so straight my face gets a bit hot, red and blotchy...someone mentioned these filters that help with eye strain and radiation but I did not get any details on where to find these or how well they work?

Thanks

bluetooh,

Most electronic devices emit some level of radiation, however the levels are so small that it would never affect you.

If you believe radiation from your display is giving you a blotchy face, then I hate to break it to you but it's all in your head and is being caused by something else.

That was a loooong time ago, it a land... well, here, but yeah, it was about 20 years ago that people had those radiation shields in front of the monochrome CRT's. LCD technology is totally different.

What kind of monitor are you using? A crappy one might give your eye strain. XP gives me eye strain... all those flat graphics, bitmap icons, bumpy pixely text....
