Running swimmingly here, on the base 13" with 8GB RAM, minus one nagging issue. While my keyboard backlight automatically adjusts, I have yet to see my display do the same thing, even after an SMC reset. Thinking back though, it may have been wonky even under 10.7.4. Other than that, animations are smoother, the machine is quicker to boot, and overall it feels like these Airs were made with ML in mind.

How about your sound? Have a close listen to a piece of music you know well, does it sound crisp?

I'm having an issue where ALL sounds are coming out very lo-fi. Almost as if I'm listing to something that is bad quality.

I was less than enamored with the MBA speakers, and they sound the same to me in Lion and ML, average for a device this thin, but not horrible and not great. I can't tell any difference between 10.7 or 10.8. One thing I have noticed is that at max volume or very close to it, the sound gets crappier, so I keep it somewhere near the middle if possible.
