I am still on Catalina and from what I understand it is possible to install Parallels to install Mojave and in turn install some older 32 bit apps that developers have abandoned.

Is that true? Anyone tried t? Issues?

It should totally work. That is why virtual machines exist.

Additionally you should be aware that there is a performance penalty that is especially noticeable in video-intensive applications.

You can get the Install Mojave app from here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211683
Absolutely agree! it works without any issues for me.

Also found this thread on Parallels Forum, it looks like it will help.

I installed the latest version of Parallels 16, but could not download Mojave Installer from the link you provided. The page shows up, but when I try to download Mojave it says "The requested version of macOS is not available."

Try this method. Apple occasionally breaks older macOS installer downloads and is either slow to or never fixes them. I would have figured Mojave still had more time, but apparently not.
