So after trying this article:

http://www.ehow.com/how_12191186_install-tiny-umbrella-linux.html

And after trying to install tiny umbrella on a Windows VM at least 8000 different ways and every time it installs but then never opens even when I try tutorials on that exact issue...

And after googling alternatives (none of which are linux compatible)...

I've decided that this is becoming a complete waste of time, so I thought I'd ask...

Does anyone know of a GOOD alternative to tiny umbrella that functions well on Ubuntu? If so would you please elaborate and send me a link? I've been trying to do this for like fifteen trillion ****ing hours and I'm tired and sick and hungry.

Thank you so much for your kindness. I'm serious.

It's a regular java app (the same JAR file should load on Windows, Mac, Linux, etc). What doesn't work for you?
