Not Sonoma beta. The issue is with Xcode beta. Are you running an Xcode beta?
Thanks for the reply
Etrecheck reports it as a beta and says all the tests may not be accurate, I finally trashed this app., I cant tell if I even trust it.

but ok, Xcode beta, I never installed Xcode, is there a way to remove this Xcode beta?

It sounds like you are running an old version of EtreCheck that doesn't know about Sonoma. EtreCheck it not like most apps. Sometimes it has to do very specific things for specific versions of the operating system. It doesn't like running on a OS version it doesn't know about. The most recent versions of EtreCheck, when running in free mode, will refuse to run at all on a beta version. It will work for paid users, but they still get the beta nag screen.

Well if you had done that any time in the past year or so, then you wouldn't be getting that message.

You said you trashed it, so please keep it in the trash and don't download it or use it again. Thanks.

Unfortunately your incorrect, I never downloaded it before, its the newest version and was on my Mac during the time I posted this...until a few days ago when I removed it completely due to suspicious comments.
