I had just installed Final Cut Pro 6 from the Final Cut Studio 2 installation DVD, and first of all, it got stuck during the "Running package script" stage at the end of installation, and I eventually force quit it (Final Cut Pro runs fine), but that's another story.
After the installation, the disc wouldn't eject (I assume somehow related to the fact that it had frozen during that last stage), and after quitting all open applications, it still wouldn't eject, so I went into activity monitor, and saw this:

I quit the "translate" thing, and then I still got the "cannot eject" message when I tried to eject the disk, but upon clicking "cancel" (as opposed to "force eject") the disc suddenly ejected. So, probably related to me quitting "translate."
What is "translate?"
