...to your data feature, we are unable to display usage information until after your next billing cycle begins."

I saw this on my account's Data Usage page in the myWireless app (awesome, free app, by the way). I did a Web search about this, and this message seems to have appeared on the Data Usage page for people who had just changed their text plan or had just signed up for service with AT&T. However, I haven't just signed up for anything. And the last change I made to my texting plan was to add the CLL2 code (200 extra texts) last month -- and that definitely showed up on the Data Usage page last month and early into my new billing cycle (which is about four days old).

Could this mean AT&T is dropping that code and those extra 200 texts from my account?

Quite possible. That Code is for universities that are on a specific list if yours is not it gets dropped the next month or two.

Not to be rude, but why post here when you can call ATT and ask them directly? 611 from your phone.

Something must have changed. They may have even made a change on your Data/Txt Messaging plan in preparation for the MMS changeover.
ANY time a change is made to your account in the Data Section, it doesn't show online usage until the NEW billing cycle starts. I have had this happen several times and always when I have changed something.

Since you added something/removed something from your plan in the middle of the month, it will be added now (Depends), but it won't show until next month's bill. Basically, you can't see how many texts/data you used for this month.

Legitimate question: I tried calling AT&T thru 611, and just when I was explaining the problem, the call failed. I called back, and the nice lady in Bangalore couldn't tell me why the message was there. Unfortunately, AT&T doesn't have all the answers.

But the change was already reflected in my account after I added the 200 texts. So why put the "there's been a change" message up now?

OK, I just tried AT&T back and -- genius that I am -- specifically asked if the CLL2 code was reflected on the account. After some checking (it took a while), they told me it wasn't. So while they apparently don't have any record of the code having been taken off the account, it's no longer there. Poof. I really wish AT&T could track these things so I know what changes are made and when.

Thanks for your feedback...

It's a standard message when any voice or data plan is changed.

How would they tell you that you used 250 texts to date if you changed your plan from 1500 texts per month to 200 texts per month? They have to start your plan over from Zero.

Basically boils down to the fact that the PRICE of the plan is prorated, but not the amount of usage.
