Hi everyone,
Can anyone recommend me some good urls to submit my web sites so that I could create up some Google ranking, most of the directories I looked up wants me to to put there links on my site why we dont wanna do, rite. So any recommendations?
Thanks

Most of the "free" places you can submit your site to really don't do all that much, but it doesn't hurt to let Yahoo and Google crawl you. I'd recommend you look up "search engine optimization" tips and that will help you more in the long run. Add a Google index to your site, make sure your pages are easy to find, you have text as you content (mostly) and not just images, etc.

Basically, you want to make it easy for the search engines to find you. Good luck!

This is like saying -- do you know any good guys on street corners I can buy genuine Rolex watches from...

If you do succeed in getting your site onto 'link farms' and you don't end up getting spammed to death when your email and URL are sold to all comers, then you'll find that Google is smart enough to figure out that you are URL spamming on link farms, and will disqualify your site.

Do the research first, then get to work.

What you DO want is inbound links from reputable and in-context other sites.

Build a nice looking, standards-compliant site and submit it to the hundreds of CSS gallery sites. You'll be listed, gain lots of traffic, and search ranking will go up significantly (provided your site code is very semantically correct).
