I'm just wondering. I love the Apple sport bands, but I have one third party silicone, and, though I don't like the feel of it quite as much, it feels lighter and cooler on my arm.

Has anyone else found they like the third party sport bands better, and, if so, which brand did you get?

I own a large multitude of Apple Watch Sport bands, both Authentic and Third party. Mainly off of Amazon. Search 'Eoso Apple Sport Bands' on Amazon. Their quality in my opinion is the best and is very similar in texture as well. I have had zero issues.

Just remember, no third party band will the same quality Apple uses. But close in comparison.

Eoso actually will follow up with the customer after the purchase.

I have a sport band from Strapped & Co and found its quality to be excellent.

......the third party ones all seem to be made from silicone, which is a big lint magnet. Apple's genuine ones are not made from silicone and thus don't attract lint - that's the main reason (for me anyway) why I would never buy a third party band.

And that's why I don't understand why Apple use silicone for its iPhone cases, what a lint magnet. But I guess they can't use the same material as for the watch band because of the price and maybe shock absorption too.

I only have one non-Apple sport band and I don't like it as well.... It's OK... but I wouldn't run out and buy a bunch more... I like the Apple ones too much!

Except my black OEM sport band started peeling within a week, so returned, while my 3rd party black silicone band doesn't. Other than that I agree about the lint.

Yeah, a defective band. It happens with anything mass produced.

I have two Moko silicone sports bands and I don't like them even for the low price tag. The silicone is thinner and does not have the quality feel the Apple sports bands do. The thinness also makes it moremdifficult to put the watch on IMO; the metal clasp pops out very easily. Never had this issue with my Apple band. Also, Moko uses silicone which gets mucked up very easily. You can rinse to clean, but this becomes cumbersome over time.
If I could do it again, I would have just gotten the Apple sports band.

I have two non-Apple sport bands and the rest are Apple branded ones. The two are a purple and a hot pink and those colors because I wanted to coordinate with something I had and I didn't have an Apple option. I can say I don't like them as well. The feel, the lint magnetic quality and honestly in comparison to the Apple ones, the flimsy weight of them makes them feel cheap...which they were. Only need them on a few occasions but they pretty much convinced me that I'll stick with the Apple brand. I'd much rather have nice quality things and maybe fewer of them than cheap stuff that I ultimately don't care for.

I have to say that of all my Apple band colors, I still gravitate to the White one (bought watch with the leather band back when it came out and the white sport was my next band purchase). It's a nice solid white, wears well and I think always looks good with most things. I wipe it down after use and haven't had any staining isssues.
