I was just over at the Mac Store (educational store) and noticed that the low end 2.16 MBP no longer offers the option of upgrading the video RAM to 256MB... hmmm. The 2.33 is now offered with the 256MB option as standard now.

I was just wondering if this is a sign that they are about to upgrade the MBP line. It seems to me the last time the stopped offering options was right before they changed the models around.

I know that the 2.16 model had the option of upgrading to 256MB video ram... there is even one available at the refurb store now (with the 256MB... but a glossy screen <gag>.

Add this to the announcement that Apple will speak at NAB and it looks promising... or am I just suffering from wishful thinking :D

I don't think there was an option. There was a 2.16 CD with 256mb, but it wasn't an option - this is what it came with.
