Anyone ordered nMP CTO from B&H?

B&H offers 45 different configurations of the nMP. At the moment none are in stock, not even the core systems.

Has anyone ordered a non stock config system from them? and received it?

The wait times are most likely the same but ordering here saves the sales tax, which can be a few hundred dollars. (I fully understand this should be reported to your resident state, but really who does that. )

Yes, and no.

Without getting into the sales tax discussion, you can save $75 on the genuine AppleCare plan.

I bought two 6 cores from B&H when they had them in stock and received them two days later.

The best route is to keep checking B&H and if it's in stock, order it.

The base 4 and 6 cores seem to show up weekly.

I've seen some custom configs here and there, but not nearly as many.

If you have a very particular config in mind, ordering it from Apple is probably as good as any other option at the moment.

I ordered a CTO on March 1st and am still waiting. Others have been waiting even longer. I think they're coming soon, but wait time was longer than it was for those who ordered directly through Apple. BH isn't to blame... Apple has intentionally been sending out direct CTO orders before fulfilling those from other retailers.
