So I got my AirPods Pro last Wednesday and found that the large tips worked well for me. I passed the fit test with that size the first time and got great results in both noise cancellation and sound quality that day.

Over the next couple of days though, I found that the left tip would 'unseal' itself, leading to poor sound quality and limited noise reduction. I could jam it back it, but I had to repeatedly do it.

Now, about a week later, I have that problem on both sides. And I can no longer past the fit test. And before anyone asks, I've cleaned the tips (and my ears) and found no difference. I'm about to pull the trigger on a return, but don't really want to. Looking for any insight or similar sob stories.

Thanks. My concern with this strategy is that it just kicks the can down the road another week or so, ultimately leaving me outside the refund window.

Yes but silicone should last quite a while so a replacement set of tips might permanently get rid of the problem. Mine have been good over the last 7 days...no issues. Call Apple and ask for replacement tips.....its the only way to find out

They won't send replacement tips, you may have joy in store with a Genius though.

I had a text chat with support. They set me up with Genius Bar appointment this afternoon. We'll see how a new set of tips works out.

Possibly a silly question but have you tried the medium tips? Bad seals seem to be caused by buds that are too big as much as those that are too small.

Not really an explanation as to why the fit has worsened for you, but might be worth a try for an extended period before returning if you like the rest of the product.

I did try the mediums first. They're noticeably loose. I took the fit test anyway and failed. The large tips, when I first put them on, felt 'right' and passed the first time.

same here. Local Apple store/genius bar were out of tip. 20 min call to Apple support found the tips and are sending them out to me. I hope this is just a early adapter problem.

I couldn’t pass the seal test either. I tried all combinations of the tips without success. I had sound leakage from my right ear and the ANC was weak. I got replacement tips from Apple but, no improvement. Today I exchanged them. The new pair passed the seal test The sound and ANC was much improved over the first pair. Keeping my fingers crossed. If new tips don’t do the trick I would exchange them if I were you. Being this is the first release of AirPods Pro, I think there is some variation in the production process That makes some perform better than others.

Thanks to all for advice. Per the nice person on the online support chat, I went to the Genius Bar where they replaced the tips. New tips were also no good which is confounding. The genius at that point tried them out and the fit test failed for him too. He had me return this pair and order another. If those don’t work, then it’s a matter of if I decide to wait for aftermarket tips.

I couldn’t get mine to pass the fit test and the left ear leaked sound. Also, the ANC was weak. I exchanged them today and that fixed my fit problem. aNC is good. Very happy with them now.

Mine can’t pass the ear test as well. And when I turn on the ANC there’s some deep bass rumbling the right earphone. It’s so annoying.

I can pass the fit test with all three sizes, but none of them stay in!!!!! I have had the APP for four days and no matter what size I use, they seem to get loose and can fall out of my ear very easily. I used the regular air pods for close to a year with no problems, but can't seem to get these to stay in my ear.
Any ideas? I really love the sound and noise-cancelling but just can't seem to get them to fit.

You could wait to see if third party tips come out otherwise you may be out of luck
