OS Neutral Anyone playing EVE

I have a really long EVE Online history....I usually activate my account for 2months, play 6weeks and take a break for 3-8months everytime!
Somehow i WANT to fall in love with EVE but i never managed to do so. The point and click gameplay might has to do something with it, but imo the main cause is the lack of a good corp/friends ingame.... Also it is so crazy that you'll have to travel across the entire galaxy with all your stuff to get to the main hub of your new corp.

Well, long story short: Currently i'm thinking of reactivating my account again^^

You've just described my EVE play style to a "T".

I'd really like to participate in PVP but it seems that most corps I've ever joined just fly around null sec doing a whole lot of nothing and at some point I cancel my sub because I get bored. I love ruining another person's day within a game. I played Rift for quite a while and had some good PVP builds going where I would run around the PVP areas making sure that people on the opposing faction got beat down. But I would take my licks too. I'd have days where all I could do is rack up the enemies kill count. It's just part of the game. I feel like EVE would give me similar satisfaction, but I just haven't ever been able to get in to it.

I am casual player. Everytime I join a small mission running/mining corporation within a month or two they go the pvp, nullsec, or faction war route.

Off an On player - currently on. About 1M away from 100M skill points on Main -no alts. 100m sp carebear - lol.

Yeah i'm a carebear, too!
But somehow i want to push me to love EVE....which almost always fails. Sadly there are so few space sims these days.
I really appreciate teh devs of Star Citizen und Elite Dangerous to revive that genre, with the latest X game being such a huge failure.
