I was pretty excited when it came out, and it was fun, but in the end it's not useful. My issue is that while it's very good at comprehension, it still makes too many mistakes, and those mistakes are cumbersome to correct. As an example, my writing sometimes contain unusual names, technical terms, or abbreviations, and the only way to correct is then to get the keyboard back and type them out. In the end it would have been easier to write everything with the on-screen keyboard.

I use it occasionally for brief text when I already happen to be using the pencil. For instance, I use it a lot for renaming layers in Affinity Photo. I never liked using the on-screen keyboard for that specific purpose, possibly in part at least because I tend to be holding the pencil. Sometimes also quick web searches, or short text replies. So far it has handled most of my writing pretty well.

Yes I use it for renaming layers, file naming, quick text reply etc. Little things when I normally have the pencil in my hand anyway and it’s just easier.

I use it when I am reading books. I usually highlight with the pencil. Sometimes I want to add a note to a text I have been highlighting. It is cumbersome to use the on screen keyboard for that (a side note I hate the on screen keyboard in general and would not want to write with it). It is far easier to use Scribble. I do have to sometimes correct things like making sure that the beginning of the sentence starts with capital letter, things like that.

It is not like I use it all the time. For me Scribble makes sense if you use the iPad in tablet form and are working with the pencil. Putting off the pencil to start typing on the on screen keyboard is slower than writing it down with the pencil and wanting Scribble to do its work.

It's useful if you use the Apple Pencil very often. Otherwise, it doesn't serve much of a purpose.

I use it a lot. I use it when I'm in the browser or to respond to a text message. I also use it to write journal entries in Day One or create notes. I was hoping that they would improve it in iOS 15 but they did not. It's still a must have feature for me though.

l use it all the time. Really hoping they continue to improve it.

Edit: I didn’t realize I already commented on this post previously. Clearly I love scribble.
