You could try reaching out to outlets such as Macstories and see if they are willing to review your app. Federico is quite willing to try out new apps, but he is also being flooded by app requests ever so often, so it's not guaranteed that your request will be successful. Many of the apps I have purchased, I did so after reading a review on his website.
And good luck too (not being sarcastic), because the iOS app store is so overcrowded, so I know how difficult it is to get a new app noticed if you are not already an established developer. That said, your app isn't entire new (last updated in July last year), so the timeframe for really garnering momentum may already have passed.
